Rich - I saw what must be the same machine ( Chittenango N.Y. , right?) and asked the same question about 2 weeks ago. Noone had any solid information, but one e-mail suggested that the drivetrain is made by Mitsubishi. If that is true, Cub Cadet (and before that, Case International I believe) are Mitsubishi, so that may be a starting point to find literature and parts. It is an absolutely adorable little machine and looks to be in excellent shape, but it does seem to be a brand noone knows anything about. If this is your first tractor and you live near the dealer, e-mail me if you want to share ideas with an "experienced" ( I have had my B1700 almost a year now!) compact owner.PaulB ....

Yep.... same tractor, same dealer . Small world isn't it! We are about 3 miles outside of the village, had to stop when I saw it @ caz equip. nice looking machine saw it on sunday, Never heard of SUZUE before.would be perfect size for my lot , worried about parts and wanted to see if it would cross reference to other machines ? Yes this would be my firstcompact tractor. Another option is a pretty clean 5100 ( I think it was a 5100)at Whites in verona. I really don't need the 4wd but if it has it I'lltake it. I want to replace my tired old JD 316 and if I'm gonna pay $5-6Kfor newer heavy duty garden tractor I might as well buy a compact . Recenty had home built ($$ is tight) so I thought I would check into the suzue ? What do you think of your kubota? What about the local dealers (whites, Devoe, etc) any problems with them? Thanks for your reply. Rich. ....

Rich, Suzie tractors were originally imported by a fellow out of Washington state I believe. The local rep was J.S.Woodhouse in Syracuse there weren"t a lot of them sold and to the best of my knowledge there still are no replacement parts. The Question about mitshi as the builder of these tractors I can't answer but I do not believe its true as they were all three cylinders for the time we have sold them. ....

Rich - what will you need the tractor for? My Kubota is a 17 horsepower, hydrostatic drive, 4 wheel drive. I bought it new, and even a really used one would be hard to find in the 5-6K range I think. As for local dealers I have only dealt with one, and I have no complaints. I don't think the webmaster likes us to talk about specific names and businesses, so lets talk via e-mail, O.K.?PaulB ....

SUZUE I don't remeber much about the tractors it was late 70's earily 80's when my father sold two of them. They may be related to iseke or the cub cadets. Check the PTO. I think it was a 3 speed with odd speeds. It may even turn in the wrong direction. Nice tractor. Keith ....
